2012-2017 Strategic Plan for Grandview Children's Centre: Inspiring Possibilities

In the fall of 2011, Grandview Children’s Centre initiated a strategic plan renewal process. In the dynamic environment of a growing region, developments in children’s rehabilitation treatment, challenging economic times for the Ontario Government constraining its funding, and increasing numbers of children and youth with special needs, a responsive Strategic Plan was needed.

Key concepts were developed by the Board of Trustees at a planning retreat in November 2011, based on its review of our internal and external environment and input from our stakeholders, including families and staff team. The Staff of the Centre took it further and detailed the objectives. The Board of Trustees affirmed this Plan at its meeting on April 5, 2012, and the new Strategic Plan for 2012-2017 was announced on June 7, 2012.
