Grandview Children's Centre's "Achievement Beads Program" provides children with an opportunity to focus on something positive with their Botox injections, which can often be a stressful and anxious time for some. It was modeled after the Sick Kids Bravery Beads Program; and allows participating clients, to choose a bead to represent every ‘poke’ they've received at the Centre’s Muscle Tone Clinic.
Durham Regional Police Children's Games
The Durham Regional Police Children's Games are a one-day event specifically designed for children with physical challenges. With the focus on FUN, 4-16 year old kids compete in teams. Scheduled events enable all the children to participate, regardless of skill or mobility, and contribute to an overall team score.
